Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi is the current Executive Director at Dubai Science Park (DSP) as of December 2023. It is an exclusive free zone community/location in the city of Dubai popular for its efforts for the science industry. The location of Dubai Science Park, under his leadership, promotes entrepreneurship, small and medium enterprises, and multinational corporations, particularly in life sciences, energy, and environment sectors. The park presently accommodates around 300 popular companies working in Dubai.
Marwan's journey with DSP started in a sales management role, from which he ascended to the position of Business Development Director and ultimately to Executive Director in 2013. Before joining DSP, he contributed his skills as a Business Expert at DUBAL.
Educationally, Marwan is equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas, USA. His commitment to continuous learning is evident from his completion of various leadership and management programs: the Future Leaders Program for UAE nationals in 2007, a course on Developing General Management Potential at Cranfield University in 2008, general education at the American University of Dubai (AUD), and the INSEAD – UAE Consortium for Executive Development Program in September 2015
