Aldar Properties Bought Office Building in Dubai Internet City
In Dubai: Abu Dhabi’s popular developer has bought another property in Dubai, this time a new office building at the Internet City. The builder and owner of the property is Sweid & Sweid.
The '6 Falak' is located in the 'heart of Dubai Internet City' and has over 90,000 square feet of office space. The fully occupied property is on one of the last remaining freehold plots in the free zone, and tenants include Roland Berger, MSD, and IFS.
Some time ago Aldar had also bought prime logistics space and launched two housing communities in Dubai as part of a growth plan outside of Abu Dhabi. The developer also launched a big office tower of its own in Dubai, on a prime plot located on Shaikh Zayed Road. It will have a leasable area of 88,000 square metres and with housing and hotel plans. Money put on the project would be around Dh1.8 billion. This plan is to increase the presence of this builder in Dubai.
As for Sweid & Sweid, it has set an aim to develop more than 3 million square feet of Grade A commercial and industrial space over the next six years. This includes projects in Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) also including Sweid One where there will be a 500,000 square foot office building and a mixed-use community centre.
Hilton and Aldar Are Now Partners to Open Abu Dhabis First Waldorf Astoria
In Abu Dhabi, a popular American hospitality company called Hilton and Aldar Properties which is a popular developer in UAE are going to work together to launch Abu Dhabi’s first Waldorf Astoria hotel. The new luxury property will bring a big change in the Eastern Mangroves hotel. These companies will try to make it into a more popular destination which will offer 167 rooms and suites with views of the nearby Mangrove National Park.
The companies said in a statement that Waldorf Astoria Abu Dhabi will have about 167 luxuriously appointed guest rooms and suites where customers can see the views of the mangroves. The group is expecting to improve Hilton´s portfolio of more than 35 hotels in the UAE where three will be under the Waldorf Astoria brand.

Situated near the Mangrove National Park the people working in the companies said that the property would offer a natural retreat just minutes from the heart of the city.
