This event brought together key figures from both government and private sectors, offering a platform for sharing expertise and innovative ideas with the aim of shaping Dubai's real estate future.
The workshop was attended by esteemed personalities including Mattar Al Tayer, Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, and Sultan Butti bin Mejren. Over 150 participants, encompassing government officials, experts, and real estate professionals, engaged in discussions on diverse themes such as attracting global investors, real estate technology advancements, and innovative financing solutions. These discussions were in alignment with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Urban Plan 2040.
Notably, the Dubai real estate market has seen a significant surge in investment, particularly from Indian investors. Sultan Butti bin Mejren, in his opening speech, highlighted the importance of collaboration to ensure the continuous growth and attractive edge of Dubai's real estate market. He emphasised the need to build cities that reflect the vision and innovation of today for future generations.
The workshop also delved into various areas, such as the integration of traditional and modern urban design, sustainability, technological advancements, and strategies to foster creativity in the Dubai Land Department ecosystem. A CEO of the Real Estate Development Sector at DLD underscored the workshop as an extension of DLD's ongoing efforts in the real estate sector.
The sessions covered topics like attracting global institutional investors, exploring new technologies in real estate, developing future communities, and innovative financing methods. These discussions aimed at reshaping modern living, incorporating sustainable enhancements, and exploring new funding methods for sustainable growth. Projects like Emaar Bayline & Emaar Avonlea in other locations like in Rashid Yachts & Marinais is also a good option for new buyers.
The workshop concluded with DLD acknowledging the valuable contributions and recommendations made, emphasising their potential impact on formulating and enhancing real estate strategies and policies. This event marks a significant step towards fostering new trends and sustainable real estate sector in Dubai. The government of Dubai is also taking more interest in putting more money in the luxurious property market in Dubai.
The event reported remarkable growth in Dubai's real estate transactions, with a 37% increase in value to AED 430 billion in Q3 2023, and a 15% rise in the number of new investors. This growth reflects the sector's resilience and the confidence investors have in it. The workshop's discussions delved into various sectors such as real estate crowdfunding, tokenization systems, AI in property management, sustainable housing solutions, and public-private partnerships for project financing. The outcomes of the workshop are expected to contribute significantly to enhancing strategies and policies in the real estate sector, with a commitment from DLD to translate these into actionable steps.
The Property market of Dubai is also attracting people from India, and they are investing more in the luxurious housing projects in Dubai. There are going to be more new launches of luxurious properties in Dubai for the next few years like Nakheel Rixos Phase 2 in Dubai Islands which is a fine community to live in.
