What Is Dubailand?
Dubailand is a major tourism, leisure, and entertainment destination located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dubailand is one of the world’s largest tourism, leisure, and entertainment projects. It will include theme parks, shopping malls, sports Clubs, cultural attractions, health and wellness facilities, and residential and commercial developments. The project is estimated to cost around $64 billion and is expected to attract around 35 million visitors a year.
Dubailand is spread over 280 million square feet and includes 45 mega projects and 200 sub-projects. The project is divided into six themed zones: Sports and Outdoor, Eco-Tourism, Themed Leisure and Vacation Worlds, Retail and Entertainment, Downtown Dubai, and Health and Wellness. It will also feature a world-class infrastructure network of roads and highways, air transport, and water transport.
The Sports and Outdoor Zone will include a Formula 1 track, golf courses, and several other sports facilities. The Eco-Tourism Zone will feature a safari park, a wildlife sanctuary, and a marine center. The Themed Leisure and Vacation Worlds will include theme parks, water parks, and a variety of recreational activities. The Retail and Entertainment Zone will include a shopping mall, cinemas, and other forms of entertainment. The Downtown Zone will feature various retail outlets, restaurants, and other attractions. Finally, the Health and Wellness Zone will include spas, health clubs, and medical facilities.
Dubailand will be a major tourist destination in the Middle East. It is expected to create a significant number of jobs and contribute to Dubai’s economy. The project is scheduled to be completed by 2030.
